The Fònix, an English contest!

This year we have participated in the contest The Fònix. It is an English comptetition among pupils from other schools. If you want to learn more about it, click on the following link:

There are three different stages: the first one is developed at school, the second one in Tarragona and the third and the final one in Barcelona. 

The whole year 6 class wanted to participate in the contest but only one person was allowed to attend the second phase of it. So the person who got the best result in the writing task was sent to the second phase in Tarragona. This year our school has been very well represented by the student Emma Llurba. On Saturday 3rd of March, Emma participated in the second stage of the contest in Tarragona. The experience has been worthwhile.

Last week an actress from the Blue Mango Theatre Company visited our school. We enjoyed two different plays "The Three Billy Goats Gruff" and "Sherlock".
